Technical description
Support materials: Injection chemical anchor for use with:
- FIS A threaded rod in galvanized steel (class 5.8 and 8.8), stainless steel (A4-70) and highly corrosion-resistant steel (C-70)
- RG MI internally threaded bush in galvanized steel (screw class 8.8) and stainless steel (A4-70)
- Reinforcing bar
- Threaded rod / FRA reinforcing bar
For:
- Civil and industrial construction: construction restarts for the connection of new pillars, beams, slabs, stairs to concrete structures, also in concretes with resistance class > C50/60.
- Bridges: reinforcements, adjustments, plinths for insulators and dissipators.
- Road and railway works: anchors for noise barriers, guardrails.
- Heavy metal carpentry: anchoring of steel plates to the floor and at heights for connection of steel beams and columns.
- Wooden constructions: connections in wood-concrete floors, reinforcements and recovery of solid wood beams, connection of wooden load-bearing structures.
Advantages:
- FIS EM Plus is the epoxy resin for fixing threaded and improved adhesion rods with the highest adhesion values high in cracked concrete and in seismic areas.
- FIS EM Plus is compliant with LEED v4 (energy and environmental design) directives.
- Certified for seismic performance category C1 and C2, with range of certified bars from M8 to M30, from Ø8 to Ø40, RGM I internally threaded bushes.
- Workable even at very low temperatures: the resin guarantees catalyzation starting from -5°C.
- Longer hardening times faster than normal epoxy resins but with processing times that guarantee serial fixing of large threaded bars or deep grouting of bars with improved adhesion.
- Certified with the use of Fischer FHD vacuum hollow tips, for greater safety and speed. in construction.
- Certified seismic applications in wet and submerged holes, without losing capacity load-bearing.
- NSF certified for use in food environments or in contact with drinking water.
- Excellent dielectric resistance for applications involving stray currents.
- NEW: the reliability and the duration of FIS EM Plus are guaranteed by the new European Technical Assessment ETA which confirms a working life of at least 100 years.
Recommended applications: Chemical anchor certified for anchoring in:
- Concrete from C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and non-cracked and for seismic actions (seismic performance category C1 and C2)
Certified for post-installed rebar connections in:
- Concrete from C20/25 to C50/60, cracked and non-cracked
Also suitable for:
- Natural stone with compact structure
- Solid wood
- Laminated wood
Operation:
- FIS EM Plus is a two-component epoxy chemical injection anchor.
- Resin and hardener are in two separate containers and are not mixed or activated until extrusion does not take place through the FIS MR Plus mixer for the 390 ml format or FIS UMR for the 585 ml format.
- Before carrying out the installation, clean the hole according to the instructions given.
- Regularly extrude the chemical anchor starting from the bottom of the hole without creating air bubbles.
- Manually install FIS A threaded rods, rebars, or RG MI internally threaded sockets by rotating them slightly until they reach the base of the hole.
- In case of through installation, the space between the anchor and the object to be fixed must be filled with FIS EM Plus.
- For applications in seismic performance category C2, fill the annular space between the stem of the bar and the hole of the object to be fixed with FIS EM Plus resin. For optimal filling, use the appropriate FFD filling disc (optional).
